Welcome to the TabletopWatch Blog

A new home for Warhammer 40K buying guides, faction breakdowns, and honest opinions on getting more hobby for your money.

announcement

TabletopWatch started as a way to pull together the best Warhammer 40K battle reports from across YouTube in one place, with army lists, prices, and a budget army builder alongside them.

This is where the editorial side of the site lives. Expect buying guides, faction breakdowns, honest reviews of the latest releases, and regular "cheapest way to start X" articles pointing at real stock from real retailers.

What's coming

A few things we're lining up for the first batch of posts:

  • "Build an X army under £150" — a running series where we cost up playable starter lists from scratch using current prices from the retailers we track. First up, a Space Marines list built entirely from discount box sets.
  • Faction first-impressions — whenever GW drops a new codex, we'll do a quick pass through what's changed, what's expensive, and what the community is actually fielding in tournaments.
  • Buying guides for Combat Patrols — which ones are worth the points, which ones are overpriced filler, and which ones to avoid entirely.
  • Second-hand spotting guides — how to tell a £30 bargain from a £30 headache on eBay.

If there's a specific topic you want to see, drop us a line. The whole point of this site is to be useful to people who actually play the game.

Happy hobbying.
